New team present at World Football Summit Asia with a focus on sports industry

Interprefy, the premium platform for remote simultaneous interpreting for events and meetings, has cemented its commitment to increase its market share in APAC with the appointment of an additional three regional sales executives. Maki Li, Damon Yong and Jaron Wong will report to Richard Roocroft, General Manager APAC, and will bolster Interprefy’s offering from regional offices, giving Interprefy a presence in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur Singapore and Tokyo.

Interprefy is a platform for remote simultaneous interpreting. Because it removes the need for interpreters to be onsite and therefore booths are no longer required, interpreters no longer need to travel and stay onsite and users can listen to interpreting through the dedicated app, it significantly reduces costs, environmental impact and administration for event and meeting organizers.

“We have seen quarter-on-quarter growth since we began, as customers continue to recognize the value remote simultaneous interpreting offers. We’re pleased to be expanding our footprint in APAC, where there are many international conferences and events taking place, and we look forward to forging new business and partner relationships across the region,” said Kim Ludvigsen, CEO at Interprefy.

“I am delighted to be leading Interprefy’s regional sales team and am looking forward to working with them to grow our sustainable sales volumes while simultaneously offering outstanding support to all our customers. I am confident that we can realize the fantastic potential and opportunity in this area for us to deliver significant benefits for our people, our company and, most importantly, our customers,” said Richard Roocroft, General Manager APAC.
