IAPCO Hamburg Advisory Board met in Hamburg from 29th to 30th August. The board, consisting of 6 IAPCO senior member representatives along with IAPCO CEO to provide strategic commentary and recommendations to the Hamburg Convention Bureau. Topics included bidding, working strategically with PCO’s, convention bureau membership programmes and client requirements.
In addition, the board conducted site visits at the new Convention Centre Hamburg (CCH) which is scheduled to open in 2020, Radisson, Grand Elysee, Enterprise and Marriott hotels along with a behind the scenes look at the Elbphilharmonie, The Hamburg Opera House.
