Vancouver, 2024 – The International Council of Fruit and Dried Nut Conference, renowned for its formal assemblies and serious discussions, took a delightful turn this year with a Casual Dinner event that was anything but ordinary. Held at the iconic BC Place (home to Vancouver’s BC Lions and Vancouver Whitecaps), the evening was transformed into a quintessential Canadian tailgate party, complete with all the local flavors and fervor one could imagine.
As attendees from across the globe gathered, they were greeted by the tantalizing aromas wafting from food trucks, each offering a taste of Canada’s diverse culinary landscape in a traditional tailgate party fashion.


The heart of the event pulsed with the energy of a local high-school football team, whose presence brought a sense of camaraderie and excitement. A school marching band opened the event leading a procession of guests into the Stadium while cheerleaders and mascots added a dash of spectacle, engaging the crowd with their spirited performances.

But it wasn’t just about the food and fanfare; the event also featured a DJ and gaming activations dotted the space, offering interactive experiences that had attendees laughing and competing in friendly bouts.
