A Winning Bid: AIM Group and Firenze Convention Bureau to host 2019 ICCA Workshop

Following the official announcement made during the 56th ICCA Congress in Prague, we proudly announce that AIM Group, together with Firenze Convention Bureau, has won the bid to host the 2019 ICCA Meeting Management Sector Client/Suppliers Business Workshop (Florence, Italy, 28 February-2 March 2019) to be held at the Firenze Fiera Congress & Exhibition Centre.

ICCA, the International Congress and Convention Association, invited members from both the Meeting Management Sector and the Destination Marketing Sector to present their candidacy as Local Host for a first-time workshop for only 15 PCO Executives, together with a decision-maker from a carefully selected client.

AIM Group International presented their bid, together with the Firenze Convention Bureau, official partner of the Municipality of Florence. It was thought to offer this specialised audience an exclusive experience in the refined and renovated destination of Florence.

This city is a symbol of history and beauty and is also the cradle of artisan handicrafts. The challenging work to organise an event is comparable to hand-made manufacturing: the Meeting Manager is a craftsman in his industry. We knew ICCA would understand this subtlety and that Florence was the best destination for this event. Our concept came out on top as it perfectly matched the exclusivity of the targeted audience.
