PCMA Convening EMEA 2025

#UnlockingEducation in action.
IAPCO President Sissi Lignou will represent the IAPCO community at PCMA’s Convening EMEA 2025, taking place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands (14–16 October 2025).

On Wednesday, 15 October (11:15–12:30 CET), Sissi will join Ginevra De Bellis, Chief of Global Projects, OIC SRL (IAPCO Member), and Florian Fehringer, Director of International Projects, Mondial Congress (IAPCO Member), for the Micro Lab session: "Beyond Collaboration: Deconstruct Strategic Partnerships."

This session will explore what makes partnerships truly strategic — uncovering how shared long-term goals, mutual value creation, and innovative thinking can transform collaboration into a competitive advantage.

Learning highlights:
🔹 Learning Objectives: Identify the key elements that transform a partnership from tactical to strategic, focusing on shared long-term goals and mutual value creation to deliver more for your organisation and community.
🔹 Develop a framework for assessing potential partnerships that unlock synergies and create value beyond what each organization could achieve independently.
🔹 Explore how to build non-traditional approaches, leveraging complementary strengths to drive innovation and build a competitive advantage

The IAPCO community continues #UnlockingInsights—sharing best practices and shaping new solutions across the global business events industry, all in pursuit of higher standards and stronger connections through continuing education and collaboration.

For those attending #ConveningEMEA, be sure to join this session — and be part of the conversation shaping the future of collaboration in our industry.

Global Socio-Political Impact Survey  Update 2026

A number of the leading organisations of the global meetings and events industry have joined forces again, to better understand the direct short- and long-term impacts of current global unrest, conflict and geo-political changes and to compare with results from a similar body of research conducted in 2025.

IAPCO, PCMA, ICCA, AIPC, IFES and AMCI have authored this survey to gather data from a combined global network of meetings and events professionals and organisations.

The survey results will be used to understand how geo-political policy changes impact our global industry and to assess their impact year-on-year.

Thank you in advance for your participation and support.
