Training Academy

IAPCO’s Training Academy (TA) comprises meeting professionals from IAPCO member companies and industry partners from around the globe. They are hand-selected to be part of the Academy for the expertise each of them bring to specific subject matters as well as for the energy, enthusiasm and willingness to share their knowledge with others.
The IAPCO International Educational Programme is administered by the Training Academy under the auspices of the IAPCO Council. The Educational Programme provides specialist training, not only for professional congress organisers and meeting planners, but to all sectors of the meetings industry. Training Academy

webEDGE is IAPCO’s unique online-learning platform. It contains hours of education (CMP accredited) designed by professionals for professionals (PCOs / Meeting Planners, Associations, CVBs, Meeting Venues, Project Managers / Assistants in the meetings industry).

Access is free for employees of IAPCO member companies, and packages are offered for non-members.

IAPCO EDGE Seminars are two or three-day in-person seminars for meetings and events professionals to learn new skills through a mix of lectures and practical workshops, taught by industry leaders.

IAPCO Impact Dialogues are 60-minute online panel discussions to trigger reflection and discussion amongst industry practitioners with audience Q&A. They are free and open to all.

IAPCO Hosted EDGE is a programme designed for organisations wishing to tailor an EDGE Seminar for a specific audience (limited to an organisation, country, specific topic…). If you are interested in hosting an EDGE Seminar for your community, we will work with you in designing and delivering the perfect programme. IAPCO will send a team of experts appropriate to the seminar content or we can deliver a seminar remotely in virtual formats. Registration is restricted and managed by the host.

CEO Meet-Up's have been created for senior level IAPCO members.  This leadership programme is always facilitated by a professional moderator, bringing their knowledge and expertise, somethmies from outside of ou industry, to help members be well-prepared for the years ahead.  The workshops are supported by our partners, Leading Centres of Europe and take place once per year in cities across the reagion.

Global Socio-Political Impact Survey  Update 2026

A number of the leading organisations of the global meetings and events industry have joined forces again, to better understand the direct short- and long-term impacts of current global unrest, conflict and geo-political changes and to compare with results from a similar body of research conducted in 2025.

IAPCO, PCMA, ICCA, AIPC, IFES and AMCI have authored this survey to gather data from a combined global network of meetings and events professionals and organisations.

The survey results will be used to understand how geo-political policy changes impact our global industry and to assess their impact year-on-year.
