IAPCO undertakes several initiatives locally and internationally that engage industry and stakeholders through specific campaigns, advocate to policy-makers or drive CSR activities. These are all vital to the continual development and professionalism of the business and professional meetings and events industry. Advocating for our profession  

IAPCO’s advocacy work is centred on our mission to raise the professionalism of the meetings industry globally and by doing so, we can promote the business events industry and its role in driving economic and social growth and development.  As the voice of the PCO sector within the global meetings and conference industry, we represent over 180 accredited PCO offices in 45 countries.  

We advocate for PCOs globally, ensuring they bring to their clients world-class skills, experience and expertise, and they are understood and respected for the impact of their social, economic, innovation, and community building outcomes.

IAPCO EDGE Auckland 2026

IAPCO EDGE Auckland 2026, taking place from 16–19 March 2026, marks 10 years of IAPCO EDGE and returns to the city where the EDGE journey began.

This highly interactive three-day seminar is designed for meetings and events professionals seeking to strengthen their skills, broaden their perspectives, and grow their global networks.

Combining expert-led sessions, case studies and collaborative group work, the programme focuses on practical tools, current trends and actionable insights.
