Unlocking Potential on the Global Stage: IAPCO Hosted EDGE Jakarta

IAPCO proudly returned to Indonesia with a Hosted EDGE Seminar in Jakarta (26–28 November 2025). The seminar was co-hosted by Pacto Convex and supported by Indonesia Congress and Convention Association (INCCA) and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Kadin Indonesia) in collaboration with the newly opened Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) PIK2.
Designed by the IAPCO Training Academy, the programme combined interactive learning, global standards, and real-world application—empowering event professionals to strengthen their capabilities and lead with confidence on the international stage.
Our sincere thanks to Stephen Noble, Chair of the IAPCO Training Academy, and EDGE faculty Benoît Dubuisson and Florian Fehringer for their outstanding contributions. The Jakarta seminar reaffirms IAPCO’s commitment to capacity building and long-term professional growth across the APAC region, strengthening Indonesia’s connection to the global meetings industry. Global Socio-Political Impact Survey  Update 2026

A number of the leading organisations of the global meetings and events industry have joined forces again, to better understand the direct short- and long-term impacts of current global unrest, conflict and geo-political changes and to compare with results from a similar body of research conducted in 2025.

IAPCO, PCMA, ICCA, AIPC, IFES and AMCI have authored this survey to gather data from a combined global network of meetings and events professionals and organisations.

The survey results will be used to understand how geo-political policy changes impact our global industry and to assess their impact year-on-year.
