The PCO - Issue #120 | Edition 5 (2025)

Issue 120 of the IAPCO PCO Magazine explores "Wellness-Centric Events: Listening to what participants really need"

14 Nov 2025

How do we design events that genuinely prioritise wellness and inclusivity? Wellness is no longer a "nice-to-have" but an essential part of the attendee experience. This goes beyond offering yoga breaks or healthy catering. It's about addressing the unspoken challenges they face. Think about offering onsite childcare to support parents attending conferences, creating quiet zones for those needing a break, or designing flexible schedules to combat event fatigue. How can PCOs move past traditional wellness ideas to create events that are truly transformative? Are we ready to break society taboos to meet these needs? And how can these initiatives impact engagement and ROI?

Global Socio-Political Impact Survey  Update 2026

A number of the leading organisations of the global meetings and events industry have joined forces again, to better understand the direct short- and long-term impacts of current global unrest, conflict and geo-political changes and to compare with results from a similar body of research conducted in 2025.

IAPCO, PCMA, ICCA, AIPC, IFES and AMCI have authored this survey to gather data from a combined global network of meetings and events professionals and organisations.

The survey results will be used to understand how geo-political policy changes impact our global industry and to assess their impact year-on-year.

Thank you in advance for your participation and support.
