The 10th World Congress on ADHD, held from 8–11 May 2025, in the beautiful city of Prague, marked a significant milestone in the history of ADHD conferences. Organised by the World Federation of ADHD and supported by CPO Hanser Service since 2009, this year's congress was the largest ever, with over 2,400 participants and exhibitors from seventy-nine countries.

The event kicked off with a grand opening ceremony featuring a mesmerising ballet performance of ‘Clara’s Dream’ from The Nutcracker and an exquisite art collection by Jérémy Piquet. Piquet is a visual artist who, after being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood (around age thirty-nine), created a deeply personal and poetic project to explore and express his experience with the condition. The scientific programme was equally impressive, offering more than forty scientific sessions and twenty-seven Guided Poster Tours, which provided a platform for researchers and practitioners to share their latest findings and insights.

One of the highlights of the congress was the Presidential Dinner, held in the heart of Prague at the Municipal House Brewery. This exclusive event – in one of the top sightseeing spots – brought together leading experts and key stakeholders in the field of ADHD, fostering valuable networking opportunities and discussions on the future of ADHD research and treatment.

The congress also celebrated the achievements of early career scientists and recognised outstanding contributions through various awards. Notably, the Joseph Sergeant Award was presented to Amalie Austgulen from Norway for her work on emotional dysregulation and suicidal spectrum behaviours in adults with ADHD, and the Joseph Biederman Award went to Douglas Teixeira Leffa from the USA for his research on ADHD genetic risk and dementia in older adults.

As we look back on the 10th World Congress on ADHD, we are reminded of the tremendous growth and progress made in the field over the past two decades. The congress not only highlighted the latest scientific advancements but also underlined the importance of continued collaboration and innovation.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, exhibitors and organisers for making this congress a resounding success. We look forward to the 11th World Congress on ADHD in Cape Town in 2027!
