IAPCO President Sissi Lignou shares IAPCO insights at HAPCO & DES Annual Meeting

IAPCO was pleased to be represented by President Sissi Lignou at the HAPCO & DES Annual Meeting 2026 of the Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers & Destination Event Specialists, which took place on 29–30 April.

As part of the programme, Sissi presented key highlights from the IAPCO 2026 Athens Annual Meeting & General Assembly and shared insights from the IAPCO Annual Member Report, bringing IAPCO perspectives and member insights into the wider industry conversation.

She also contributed to important discussions on destination narratives, stakeholder alignment, industry collaboration and the role of PCOs, associations and ambassadors in shaping successful international events. Sissi moderated “Synching Voices Shaping Perceptions | Aligning Destination Narratives with Stakeholder Expectations” and participated in “Shaping Collaboration: Associations, Ambassadors & PCOs – Different Roles, One Goal”, joined by leading local and national stakeholders, as well as Paola Padovani of IAPCO member Triumph Group.
