IAPCO had a full programme of events and a highly visible presence again this year at IBTM World, in Barcelona.

IAPCO’s shared presence on the Events Industry Council (EIC) stand, delivery of 3 education sessions and continued strategic advocacy for the meetings and events industry with our Unlocking Excellence campaign ensured the value of IAPCO members remained front and centre.

Added to this, we awarded the Driving Excellence Collaboration Award to IAPCO Member, Interplan, and their partners at Congress Center Leipzig, during the Meeting Leadership Network event on Monday 18th November.

IBTM World is the leading global event for the meetings and events industry with one goal – to inspire the events world to deliver exceptional experiences.

As ever, IBTM World provided visitors with the inspiration, business connections and content needed to create world-class events.

IAPCO EDGE Auckland 2026

IAPCO EDGE Auckland 2026, taking place from 16–19 March 2026, marks 10 years of IAPCO EDGE and returns to the city where the EDGE journey began.

This highly interactive three-day seminar is designed for meetings and events professionals seeking to strengthen their skills, broaden their perspectives, and grow their global networks.

Combining expert-led sessions, case studies and collaborative group work, the programme focuses on practical tools, current trends and actionable insights.
