IAPCO EDGE Stockholm 2026 Unlocks the Next Decade of Excellence in Professional Events

23 Jan 2026

After four inspiring days of learning, collaboration and connection, IAPCO EDGE Stockholm 2026 (18–21 January) has officially concluded, marking the launch of a milestone year celebrating 10 years of IAPCO EDGE.

Held under the theme “Bridging Minds: A Collaborative Innovation Journey,” EDGE Stockholm brought together over 60 meeting professionals from PCOs, CVBs, associations and venues for expert-led education, interactive workshops, mentor circles and meaningful peer exchange — all designed to sharpen thinking, strengthen skills and elevate professional practice.

The programme was led by the exceptional IAPCO faculty — Sissi Lignou (IAPCO President), Nicky McGrane (IAPCO Training Academy Regional Representative – Europe), and Mathias Posch (IAPCO Past President & Chair of the Accreditation Committee) — whose expertise and commitment were central to the EDGE Stockholm experience.
The programme was further elevated by Keynote Speaker Tobias Degsell, whose thought-provoking insights brought depth, energy and a powerful perspective to the conversations.

Stockholm — the City Where Creativity Thrives — was the perfect backdrop. Thank you to our Local Organising Committee hosts Stockholm Business Region, Meetagain AB and Nordic Hotels & Resorts for crafting inspiring local experiences that showcased the best of the city and brought our global EDGE community together. With its balance of past, present and future, Stockholm’s spirit of openness, innovation and sustainability beautifully underpinned the 10th-anniversary EDGE experience.

A special highlight was our featured alumni moment, “EDGEat10: Voices of a Decade,” where EDGE alumni Anna Hall, Guendalina Carnesecchi, Lamprini Nikolidaki and Olivia Galun shared powerful reflections from their #UnlockingEDGE stories and the biggest lessons learned over the past ten years — reinforcing the lasting impact of EDGE across careers and regions.

Congratulations to Bjorn van der Wal for being named “Best Content Socialiser,” a new recognition celebrating those who actively share insights and connect the EDGE experience with the wider community.

A big thank you to our participants — to each and every one of you — for making this a truly memorable #IAPCOEDGE in beautiful Stockholm.

As the first seminar of the anniversary year, EDGE Stockholm launches a global programme of EDGE learning across regions, with more seminars to come in 2026 — including EDGE Auckland and EDGE Dubai AdvancedSee more here
