Geneva Convention Bureau
In June 2026, the European Academy of Neurology will hold its 12th Annual Congress in Geneva, bringing together over 7,000 specialists, researchers and healthcare professionals at Palexpo. On this occasion, Geneva has been designated “European Capital of Brain Health 2026,” highlighting its leading role in neuroscience, research and global health.
Beyond the congress itself, a comprehensive legacy programme has been developed to create lasting impact within the destination. In collaboration with the Swiss Neurological Society and local partners, this initiative includes public conferences connecting experts with the wider community, a nationwide schools programme to promote brain health awareness, and a city-wide campaign encouraging healthy lifestyles.
This integrated approach reflects the Geneva Convention Bureau’s commitment to leveraging international congresses as platforms for knowledge exchange, community engagement and sustainable legacy.
