ERA Congresses and Events Team Makes a Splash in the First Half of 2024

Sun’s out, events out? Not quite! Before we swap briefcases for beach towels, let’s celebrate the incredible achievements of our very own Congresses and Events team.

These past seven months have been a whirlwind of activities, and the team navigated them with exceptional skill. They successfully delivered a whopping forty-one top-tier congresses and events in 2024, fostering valuable connections and knowledge exchange within our industry. From the stimulating discussions at the prestigious PAC World Conference to the engaging Residence Quiz held during the 57th Panhellenic Ophthalmology Congress, each event offered a unique and impactful experience, bringing together more than 10,000 attendees.

But the true success story goes beyond the numbers. Feedback from attendees and clients has been overwhelmingly positive. Many praised the events for being ‘fantastic’ and highlighting the team’s ‘exceptional organisation’ and ‘kindness’. Comments like, ‘Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and helpful,’ and ‘The team’s support and generosity were the key to the event’s tremendous success,’ are a direct reflection of the team’s meticulous planning, flawless execution and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.

A big round of applause to our ERA Congresses and Events team! Their dedication and hard work in the first half of 2024 have positioned ERA for continued success and set the bar high for future events.

While the team has smartly split their vacations throughout the summer, ensuring continuous coverage, we want to highlight that our travel and ticketing department will also remain operational.

As we return in September, we can leverage the momentum they’ve built and continue to push the boundaries of industry gatherings. Here’s to a well-deserved rest, and an exciting second half of the year for ERA events!

IAPCO EDGE Auckland 2026

IAPCO EDGE Auckland 2026, taking place from 16–19 March 2026, marks 10 years of IAPCO EDGE and returns to the city where the EDGE journey began.

This highly interactive three-day seminar is designed for meetings and events professionals seeking to strengthen their skills, broaden their perspectives, and grow their global networks.
