Congratulations to Jan Tonkin MNZM

IAPCO warmly congratulates Jan Tonkin, IAPCO Past President, on being appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to the business events sector.

A true industry leader, Jan has played a significant role in advancing New Zealand’s business events industry, supporting its growth to international standards and recognition. Her contribution spans decades, from founding The Conference Company in 1990 to supporting sector development, mentoring, international engagement and major convention centre projects across New Zealand.

As the only New Zealander to have served as IAPCO President, and former Chair of the IAPCO Training Academy, Jan’s impact has extended far beyond New Zealand.

We are delighted to see her outstanding achievements recognised with this honour.
