Beyond the Lecture Hall: Interactive Engagement at the 44th Athenian Urology Days

09 Jun 2025

This May, Erasmus S. A. curated a conference experience that bridged scientific excellence with audience interaction at the 44th Athenian Urology Days, hosted in Athens, Greece. This year’s event moved beyond traditional presentations by integrating hands-on, sponsor-led activations that elevated engagement.

Together with the congress sponsors, Erasmus introduced interactive stations, real-time Q&A hubs and simulation zones, allowing participants to deepen their learning through live demonstrations and product engagement. The initiative aimed to transform passive listening into active exploration, fostering memorable touchpoints between delegates and scientific innovation.

The format drew praise from both speakers and attendees – a testament to the value of blending medical theory with real-world application. As a PCO, Erasmus continues to advocate for multi–dimensional experiences that serve both education and connection.

Global Socio-Political Impact Survey  Update 2026

A number of the leading organisations of the global meetings and events industry have joined forces again, to better understand the direct short- and long-term impacts of current global unrest, conflict and geo-political changes and to compare with results from a similar body of research conducted in 2025.

IAPCO, PCMA, ICCA, AIPC, IFES and AMCI have authored this survey to gather data from a combined global network of meetings and events professionals and organisations.

The survey results will be used to understand how geo-political policy changes impact our global industry and to assess their impact year-on-year.

Thank you in advance for your participation and support.
