AIM Group at Expo Osaka: “Investing in Global Events to Drive Change and Growth”

03 Jul 2025

Taking part in global events such as Expo 2025 Osaka offers more than just visibility; it provides a tangible means of strengthening international relations, promoting innovation, and fostering new economic opportunities. AIM Group International's involvement in AGEVITY JAPAN 2025, the forum dedicated to the Longevity Economy promoted by Assolombarda and Silver Economy Network, is a prime example of this.

As a partner in the initiative, AIM Group contributed to designing the content, coordinating the event, and establishing a dialogue between businesses, institutions, and the research community. This brought a model for discussing crucial future issues to Japan.

Expo Osaka was an important step in strengthening relations with Japan, a country that, like Italy, is facing challenges related to active ageing. It was an opportunity to share experiences, create synergies, and promote sustainable economic growth in which longevity is viewed as a resource rather than a limitation.

AGEVITY JAPAN 2025 was a success, both for the quality of the presentations and for the enthusiasm it generated,’ said Gianluca Scavo, CEO of AIM Group International. ‘Events of this kind encourage discussion, fuel ideas and build new partnerships. Companies should take greater advantage of these opportunities and use them as tools to position themselves in key markets and drive change and growth.”

AIM Group's commitment to the AGEVITY project forms part of a long-term vision: the group has supported the initiative since its inception, helping to develop an innovative format that connects public and private stakeholders, and promotes a new culture of longevity based on active participation in economic and social life.

‘Events of this magnitude require a clear vision and collaboration with institutions in order to translate content into concrete strategies. The partnership with the Italian Embassy in Japan and the General Commissariat is a great example of this,’ emphasises Flaminia Roberti, Global Sales Director at AIM Group International.

‘We believe that the longevity economy has the potential to drive real transformation,’ concludes Scavo. ‘Our job is to create connections in the right contexts to generate value. Events are an investment in the future, not a cost.’

Global Socio-Political Impact Survey  Update 2026

A number of the leading organisations of the global meetings and events industry have joined forces again, to better understand the direct short- and long-term impacts of current global unrest, conflict and geo-political changes and to compare with results from a similar body of research conducted in 2025.

IAPCO, PCMA, ICCA, AIPC, IFES and AMCI have authored this survey to gather data from a combined global network of meetings and events professionals and organisations.

The survey results will be used to understand how geo-political policy changes impact our global industry and to assess their impact year-on-year.

Thank you in advance for your participation and support.
