AIPC
The International Association of Convention Centres is the industry association for professional convention and exhibition centre managers world wide. AIPC is committed to encouraging and recognizing excellence in convention centre management, while at the same time providing the tools to achieve such high standards through its research, educational and networking programs.
AIPC occupies a unique position amongst the various organizations that represent the meetings industry. It is a true international organization, with representation from over 60 countries around the world. AMC Institute (AMCI) is the global trade association for 175 association management companies that work with more than 3300 nonprofits serving 3.3 million members. The total budget for associations managed by AMC Institute members is over $1.9 billion. AMC Institute seeks to advance professionalism and high industry standards for association management companies through education, accreditation, and member networking opportunities.
Cocal
The Latin American Meetings Industry Federation (COCAL) is a not-for-profit membership organization that currently represents, educates, and encourages all the stakeholders that make up the value chain of the Meetings and Business Events Industry of Latin America: Organizers, Suppliers, Event Generators, and Academia, grouped either under the figure of individual professionals, corporations, or individuals representing a national industry organization. COCAL promote the competitive level of the Industry in the Latin American region. COCAL membership is through annual membership and all its members are of good standing in the industry.
EIC
Our CEO represents IAPCO on all activities of The Events Industry Council (formerly Convention Industry Council). EIC was founded in 1949 by four organisations to facilitate the exchange of information within the meetings, conventions, and exhibitions industry. Now the organisation has grown to include 34 member organisations of which IAPCO is one. EIC’s membership represent more than 103500 individuals and 19500 firms and properties involved in the meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry. EIC offers many tools and programmes designed to support the industry and meet its challenges; facilitate the exchange of information and ideas; and educate the public on its profound economic impact.

IFES
International Federation of Exhibition & Event Services (IFES) is the International Federation of national associations and individual companies active in the design, conception, production and show services for temporary structures used at exhibitions and trade shows. It is the only organization dedicated to specific needs of exhibit designers and providers of tradeshow services. IFES directly represents nearly 20,000 exhibition and event service industry employees globally and works closely with its 14 national association members to facilitate opportunities for gaining knowledge and expanding global cooperation of its more than 250 registered members from all around the globe.
The purpose of IFES is to promote the commercial, professional and socio-political interests of its country member associations on an international level. IFES is governed by a board of representatives comprising representatives of its member companies.
IPCAA
International Pharmaceutical Congress Advisory Association (IPCAA) mission is to ensure the most beneficial outcome for all parties involved in medical congresses, through the development of common and consistent congress policies and through recognised partnerships with medical societies. IPCAA also facilitates and organises platforms for discussion and education of topics amongst relevant meetings industry stakeholders and contributes to improve the understanding of topics such as compliance and transparency. The organisation is in regular contact with leading policy-making healthcare organisations and is an affiliate member of IFPMA.
PCAA was formed in 1989, originally as the European Pharmaceutical Congress Advisory Association (EPCAA), an association of European research-based pharmaceutical companies.
Today IPCAA represents in excess of 22 healthcare companies from around the world with its Code of Conduct and Guidelines seen as the basis for interactions between medical societies, congress organisers and the Healthcare Industry.
JMIC
Our CEO was elected to the Board of the Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) in May 2024. JMIC was established in 1978 as a vehicle for creating a forum for the exchange of information and perspectives amongst international associations engaged in various aspects of the meetings industry.
Today, JMIC has three primary objectives:
To create a forum for the exchange of information and expertise amongst organisations that represent the various sectors of the meetings industry;
To formally recognize the achievements of individuals who have successfully advanced the positioning and professionalism of the industry on an international basis;
To support and carry out activities that promote the profile and positioning of the meetings industry as a distinct and important part of the global economy.
IMEX
The IMEX Group organises two global trade shows in the meetings and events sector. IMEX in Frankfurt has been held since 2002 and was joined in 2011 by IMEX America.
Both trade shows offer unprecedented business opportunities combined with a great industry gathering. In partnership with the industry’s key associations, our unique model is complemented by extensive free education and networking.

Boardroom is a niche magazine specialised in association management. Targeting exclusively and solely European and international associations, Boardroom doesn’t deal with the meetings industry per se but, instead, covers a wide spectrum of issues of interest to the associations. It also gives voice to destinations, venues, industry organisations, etc. who can help and partner with these associations.
A pan-European magazine with an additional US-based associations database in development, Boardroom is headquartered in Brussels, as to keep close contact with its targeted audience and to be able to follow the evolution and trends among them. It is published 5 times a year, with a print and digital circulation, and has staff in Belgium, France, Spain and the UK.
Congresos >
The magazine CONGRESOS is the new publication of the publishing house Grupo PUNTO MICE with two different versions for Spain and Latin America. The Spanish version was the first to be launched in October 2023 followed by the Latin American edition in November 2023. Both versions are intended for congress decision-makers of scientific and medical societies, professional associations and other groups organising this type of operation, as well as PCOs (Professional Congress Operators) and suppliers in the sector. The magazine is published every six months with each issue covering in-depth a topical issue and interviews representing the points of view of the congressional universe, alongside echoing the latest reports from leading association.
