AI at the Crossroads of Human Connections: Green Light or Red Flag?
AI is reshaping the meetings and events industry, but not every use of AI deserves a green light. This practical, discussion-led workshop invites participants to explore AI through a human-centred lens, using a red / yellow / green framework to examine where AI creates value, where caution is needed, and where the human role must remain central.
Through contrasting viewpoints, hands-on group work and open discussion, participants will challenge assumptions, test real-life scenarios and leave with a clearer sense of how to position themselves in an AI-enabled events landscape.

- Identify where AI can genuinely add value in meetings and events, and where greater caution or human intervention is required.
- Test different perspectives on AI through debate, practical scenarios and peer discussion.
- Build a clearer personal framework for judging when AI deserves a green light, when it calls for caution, and when the human role must remain central.
- Recognise where risks, limitations and human irreplaceables remain significant.
