The four host PCOs and This is Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau have joined forces to support this high-end event for the IAPCO Community and accelerate the advocacy and brand identity of our industry, in the birthplace of the first symposia. Athens is a destination with forward-thinking heritage, vibrant urban culture, and world-class meeting facilities, offering excellent connectivity by air and sea, and sustainable and fast transport from the airport. With its impressive rise in the international meetings industry, Athens has already been established on the global map within the top 10 most popular destinations for congresses.
The LOC is working to develop a programme around the theme of “The Odyssey Reinvented. A very human journey toward the meetings of tomorrow”, to explore how technology is transforming the way people meet and connect, and the human wisdom and emotions that remain crucial to our flexibility and adaptation. The program will highlight all the aspects that made Odysseus a timeless symbol of our capacity to overcome adversity: resourcefulness and cleverness, patience and perseverance, leadership and decision-making.
