Japan National Tourism Organisation will host the trademark IAPCO Hosted EDGE Seminar in Tokyo, Japan, on 27–28 August 2026.

Taking place at Nomura Conference Plaza – Nihonbashi, the two-day hybrid programme is designed to support and strengthen Japan’s meetings industry by equipping CVBs and PCOs with practical knowledge, tools and best practices to remain competitive in an evolving global marketplace.

The seminar will be led by IAPCO Training Academy faculty Stephen Noble, General Manager of The Conference Company and Chair of the IAPCO Training Academy, and Mathias Posch, President and Partner of International Conference Services Ltd and former IAPCO President.

Delivered both online and in person, the programme will welcome a mixed audience of new and returning participants, with approximately 45 online and 20 in-person attendees expected. Registration opens on Friday, 5 June 2026.

Across seven key topics and eight sessions, the seminar will combine a global industry perspective with regional relevance to Japan. Topics include Industry Trends, Bidding & Site Inspection, Collaboration Among Suppliers, Engagement, Risk Management, AI & Technology, and Legacy & Sustainability. Select sessions, including Bidding & Site Inspection and AI & Technology, will feature practical components to ensure participants leave with actionable skills they can apply straight away.
