IAPCO will be participating in FIEXPO Latin America 2026 in San José, Costa Rica, from 8–11 June 2026.
Representing IAPCO in San José will be Council Member and Training Academy Regional Representative for LATAM, Jimena Ruiz, and CEO Martin Boyle, reinforcing IAPCO’s commitment to advocacy, education and industry advancement across the global meetings and events sector.
As one of the leading platforms for dialogue between policymakers, destinations and industry leaders in Latin America, FIEXPO provides a valuable opportunity to champion the impact of the meetings industry, strengthen collaboration across the region, and advance IAPCO’s mission of raising professional standards through education, knowledge exchange and leadership development.
Jimena Ruiz will represent IAPCO through her active participation in the Next Generation Summit education programme. As IAPCO Council Member and Training Academy Regional Representative for LATAM, she will contribute to discussions focused on professional development, leadership and industry excellence, supporting IAPCO’s ongoing commitment to unlocking opportunities for growth and capability building across the regions it serves.
Throughout the week, Martin Boyle will engage with destination leaders, policymakers and key stakeholders at both the Latin American Destinations Forum and the 13th Latin American Politicians Forum. Representing the collective voice of IAPCO and its global membership, he will highlight the contribution of professional congress organisers to economic development, knowledge exchange and societal impact, while sharing insights from IAPCO’s advocacy initiatives and global industry research.
IAPCO’s participation at FIEXPO also reflects its continued investment in education and emerging talent across Latin America and the Caribbean, including through the IAPCO-FIEXPO Emerging Leaders Programme LATAM and the Jorge Castex Scholarship. Together, these initiatives underline IAPCO’s commitment to creating meaningful educational opportunities tailored to the needs of the region, while supporting the next phase of professional excellence across the global meetings industry.
Stay tuned for further updates and announcements from San José for the IAPCO community and the wider meetings industry.
