Albert Cronheim Scholarship

Since 1976 the Albert Cronheim Scholarship has been created to acknowledge the contribution made by Albert to the creation of the IAPCO Educational Programme. The Scholarship is available only to non-IAPCO members and includes registration fees for an EDGE seminar.

Criteria for application

  • Should be from an emerging country (OECD or World Bank list)
  • Must be currently active, working in the industry
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience but not more than 5
  • Should have good English speaking level
  • Non-IAPCO members only
Please Note: Should you be awarded the Scholarship and then are unable to attend, please note it is not transferable to another person.

Global Socio-Political Impact Survey  Update 2026

A number of the leading organisations of the global meetings and events industry have joined forces again, to better understand the direct short- and long-term impacts of current global unrest, conflict and geo-political changes and to compare with results from a similar body of research conducted in 2025.

IAPCO, PCMA, ICCA, AIPC, IFES and AMCI have authored this survey to gather data from a combined global network of meetings and events professionals and organisations.

The survey results will be used to understand how geo-political policy changes impact our global industry and to assess their impact year-on-year.
