EOS 2024
The 99th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), successfully concluded under the presidency of Professor Dimitrios Chalazonitis from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, marked a significant gathering for orthodontic professionals, focusing on the latest scientific developments and challenges in the field.

EAPD 2024
The 17th Congress of the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD) that was hosted by Svenska Pedodonti Foreningen, focused on the theme ‘Handling children with care’, covering topics such as communication, behaviour management and dental anomalies, with a pre-congress session on dental erosion.

EPHAR 2024
The 9th European Congress of Pharmacology, hosted by the Federation of European Pharmacological Societies, under the leadership of Dr Andreas Papapetropoulos, Professor of Pharmacology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, focused on Obesity, Longevity, Cancer and Personalised Medicine at the Forefront of Pharmacology.

ORCA 2024
The international conference ORCA 2024, chaired by Dr Christos Rachiotis, Professor at the School of Dentistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), and supported by the Region of Crete and the Hellenic Dental Association, brought together leading scientists, researchers and professionals from around the world, focusing on the latest developments and research in dental caries.

Record Participation at IEEE IGARSS 2024 in Athens: A Milestone for Climate Change Solutions
The International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) 2024, hosted by IEEE, took place for the first time in Athens, Greece, from 7–12 July 2024, at the Megaron Athens International Conference Center. Under the leadership of Dr Charalambos Kontoes from the National Observatory of Athens and Professor Vito Pascazio from the Università degli Studi di Napoli ‘Parthenope’, the symposium attracted over 3,000 delegates from academia, industry and startups, marking a record number of participants.

ISCB 45
The 45th Annual Conference of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB), focused on the development of methods and practical applications of statistics in medicine and public health and presented innovative statistical methods and approaches for clinical research, therapy development and vaccine creation.
